Advanced Packet Brokers

 Niagara Networks’ Advanced Packet Broker goes beyond traditional aggregation and filtering by delivering a programmable, high-performance visibility layer that ensures the right data reaches the right tool at the right time. Advanced Packet Brokers can be configured to perform active TAP functions as well as fully integrated packet broker functions. Equipped with the pluggable Packetron module, they enable comprehensive packet parsing and manipulation for both IPv4 and IPv6 across OSI Layers 2 through 7, and provide advanced network intelligence capabilities

Inline Hybrid Bypass Switches

Our inline hybrid bypass switches deliver intelligent packet broker capabilities, active TAP functionality, and both fail-safe and fail-open bypass switching for inline tools within cybersecurity stack. We offer a comprehensive product range, starting with entry-level models such as the 3299, which supports both electrical and optical interfaces for high availability. It also provides advanced policy control with packet and flow conditioning to ensure the most stringent protection scenarios. At the high end, we offer the scalable 3808E, our flagship carrier-grade hybrid platform.

Cloud Packet Broker

A Cloud Packet Broker is essential, acting as a virtual Cloud Intelligence Platform (CIP) that aggregates, processes, parses, and filters network packets and metadata from East-West and North-South traffic flows. Deployed in any virtualized environment - private or public - the CIP delivers agile packet processing capabilities equivalent to Niagara Networks’ physical on-premises packet brokers.

Network TAPs

Niagara Networks offers both passive and active network TAPs, supporting a wide range of connectors, fiber types, and interface speeds.

Active TAPs Solution
Integrated into Niagara Advanced Packet Brokers and Hybrid Bypass Switches, active TAPs provide intelligent functions that can identify points of interest and selectively copy only the relevant traffic instead of the entire data stream.

Passive TAPs Solution
Built on optical coupler (splitter) technology, passive TAPs ensure the tapped network point and appliance remain always connected. They require no power supply, delivering 100% security and invisibility with full transparency to IP addresses, MAC addresses, and configurations, supporting bandwidth rates up to 400Gbps.
