A Cloud Packet Broker is essential, acting as a virtual Cloud Intelligence Platform (CIP) that aggregates, processes, parses, and filters network packets and metadata from East-West and North-South traffic flows. Deployed in any virtualized environment - private or public - the CIP delivers agile packet processing capabilities equivalent to Niagara Networks’ physical on-premises packet brokers.

Active TAPs Solution
Integrated into Niagara Advanced Packet Brokers and Hybrid Bypass Switches, active TAPs provide intelligent functions that can identify points of interest and selectively copy only the relevant traffic instead of the entire data stream.
Passive TAPs Solution
Built on optical coupler (splitter) technology, passive TAPs ensure the tapped network point and appliance remain always connected. They require no power supply, delivering 100% security and invisibility with full transparency to IP addresses, MAC addresses, and configurations, supporting bandwidth rates up to 400Gbps.
